2 cups softened butter
1 cup sugar (white)
vanilla extract (two teaspoons)
4 cups flour (all-purpose)
as needed 1-2 tablespoons milk
Preheat the oven to 350 . Cream the sugar and butter together in a large mixing basin until light and creamy.
Blend in the vanilla extract until smooth. Mix in the flour until it forms a dough.
As needed, add more milk until the dough is the consistency of play dough.
Fill a cookie press halfway with dough. To make the cookies, place the cookie press on an ungreased, unlined baking sheet and push down.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned on the bottom.
