These Turkey Sliders are soft, cheesy, and packed with flavor perfect for game day, family gatherings, or a quick and satisfying meal. The sweet Hawaiian rolls paired with melted cheese, tender turkey, and a buttery poppy seed topping make every bite irresistible.

Ingredients

  • ½ stick (55 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar or honey
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules or garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ pound deli-sliced roasted turkey
  • ¾ pound Havarti cheese, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×9 or 7×11-inch baking pan. If unavailable, a 9×13-inch pan works as well.
  2. Prepare the Butter Topping:
    In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar (or honey), poppy seeds, dried minced onion, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  3. Prepare the Rolls:
    Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
    Spread mayonnaise evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
    Layer half of the turkey slices, then all the cheese, followed by the remaining turkey slices. Place the top halves of the rolls on top.
  5. Add Butter Mixture and Bake:
    Brush or pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Finish Baking:
    Remove the foil and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes, until golden brown. Watch closely to prevent burning.
