Ingredients

For the Shrimp Tacos

  • 1 batch cilantro lime slaw
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2โ€“3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • Fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • 8โ€“10 flour tortillas (or corn tortillas)
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and thinly sliced
  • Optional toppings: chopped fresh cilantro, diced red or white onion, sliced jalapeรฑo or serrano peppers, crumbled cotija cheese, lime wedges

For the Chipotle Crema

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)
  • 1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce (or 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slaw and Crema
    • Make the cilantro lime slaw according to your preferred recipe.
    • In a blender, combine all chipotle crema ingredients and blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Shrimp
