  • 6 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Instructions

Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the linguine, reduce heat to maintain a simmer, and cook for 5โ€“7 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Drain the pasta in a colander and transfer to a bowl. Toss with ยฝ tablespoon olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.

Season the Shrimp

  1. In a small bowl, toss the shrimp with salt and pepper until evenly coated.

Sautรฉ the Garlic

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

Cook the Shrimp
