  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1 cup (237 ml) milk (2% or whole)
  • ½ cup (130 g) creamy peanut butter

1. Prepare the Oven and Pan

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), or 170°C for a fan oven.
  2. Line a 9×5 inch (23×13 cm) loaf pan with parchment paper.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until evenly combined.

3. Add Wet Ingredients

  1. To the same bowl, add the egg, milk, and peanut butter.
  2. Whisk until smooth and fully incorporated, forming a thick batter.

4. Bake the Bread

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  2. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

5. Cool and Serve

  1. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  2. Invert onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely before slicing.
