Tips

  • Using frozen peaches: Thaw completely and drain excess liquid before blending.
  • Sweeter peaches = better flavor: Ripe, juicy peaches give the best result.
  • Smooth texture: Blend the peach base very well to avoid icy bits.
  • Storage: Keep tightly covered to prevent freezer burn.

Variations and Substitutions

  • Honey or maple syrup: Replace sugar with honey or maple syrup to taste.
  • Dairy-free option: Use thick coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt.
  • Extra flavor: Add a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of lemon juice.
  • Other fruits: Substitute peaches with mangoes, strawberries, or apricots.

FAQs

Can I make this without an ice cream maker?
Yes. Freeze the mixture in a shallow container and stir every 30โ€“45 minutes for about 3 hours to break up ice crystals.

How long does peach frozen yogurt last in the freezer?
Up to 1 week for best texture and flavor.

Why is my frozen yogurt too hard?
Frozen yogurt firms up more than ice cream. Let it sit at room temperature for 10โ€“15 minutes before scooping.

Serving

  • Serve in chilled bowls or cones
  • Garnish with fresh peach slices or mint
  • Drizzle with honey for extra sweetness

Suggestions

  • Pair with almond biscotti or granola for texture
  • Use as a topping for waffles or pancakes
