  • 2 lbs (900 g) chicken tenders (called mini chicken fillets in the UK)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup (250 ml) water

Instructions

  1. Sautรฉ the Chicken (Optional but Recommended):
    Set the Instant Pot to SAUTร‰ on normal. Add olive oil and heat. Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and oregano. Brown for 1โ€“2 minutes per side to lock in flavor and improve texture.
  2. Remove and Deglaze:
    Take the chicken tenders out of the pot. Add a splash of water and scrape the bottom to remove any browned bits.
  3. Prepare for Pressure Cooking:
    Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and pour in 1 cup of water. Stack the chicken tenders on the trivet or place them in a steamer basket.
  4. Pressure Cook:
    Secure the lid, set the valve to SEALING, and select PRESSURE COOK/MANUAL. Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes. The Instant Pot will take about 5 minutes to come to pressure before cooking starts.
  5. Release Pressure:
    When cooking is complete, perform a quick release of the steam.
  6. Serve:
    Remove the chicken tenders from the Instant Pot and serve hot. Enjoy as a main dish or use them in salads, wraps, or sandwiches.
