  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish (optional)

  1. In a 4–6 quart crock pot, combine 3 cups of chicken broth, frozen pierogies, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and sliced kielbasa. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours or on LOW for 6 hours, until the pierogies are tender and heated through.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, warm the cream cheese with the remaining 1 cup of chicken broth in the microwave or on the stovetop. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the crock pot and stir gently to combine.
  5. Top with the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
