  • 2 cups (480 ml) whole milk

Instructions

1. Preheat and Prepare
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook Sausage and Vegetables
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Add the bell pepper and onion, cooking until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, eggs, milk, and black pepper until smooth.

4. Combine Ingredients
Stir in the cooked sausage mixture, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and the frozen hash browns. Season with salt to taste. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
