Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil (such as avocado or grapeseed)
  • ยฝ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Grill
Heat your grill to 390ยฐF (200ยฐC) for about 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Potatoes
Scrub and wash the potatoes thoroughly, then pat dry. Pierce each potato a few times with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
  3. Season and Wrap
Brush the potatoes with neutral oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Wrap each potato individually in two layers of foil.
  4. Grill the Potatoes
Place the foil-wrapped potatoes directly on the grill. Cover with the lid and cook for 45โ€“55 minutes, turning halfway through. Potatoes are done when a knife easily pierces the center or when the internal temperature reaches 205ยฐF (95ยฐC).
  5. Serve
Remove the potatoes from the grill with tongs and allow them to cool slightly. Carefully unwrap the foil, cut open the potatoes, add a pat of butter, and fluff with a fork. Top with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.

Pierce with a fork or knife; it should slide in easily. Internal temperature should reach 205ยฐF (95ยฐC).
